Despite the scaffolding and enormous crane, this is a site you can't miss in Athens. Enjoy the climb up the hill and admire the beauty.

Gorgeous! Get there early as the tours start arriving around 9am (it opens at 8am). The side entrance (near the museum) is much less busy than the main entrance.

What can you say but Wow! Beautiful architecture and history. Get there early to beat the heat and the crowds. Buy tickets ahead of time to skip the lines. Great vistas from everywhere.

Worth going at sunset - it feels a lot cooler up there at that time of day in the summer and it's truly wonderful to watch the sun sink down over Athens from this view point.

Beautiful ancient Greek architecture. Some construction and renovation is still going on. So difficult to take proper photo without anything at the background. Number 1 must-see tourist attraction.
